Le tre immagini, forse seicentesche, presentano tutte il Cristo ormai spirato (come dice il capo reclino). Si distinguono invece per la croce, che nei due incorniciati è assente o non pertinente, mentre nel primo è posta su arabeschi dorati e riprende l’avorio nel cartiglio e nelle tre sfere poste al termine dei bracci.

Three Crucifixes

The three images, possibly dating back to the 17th century, all depict Christ after his death (as indicated by his reclining head). They differ, however, in terms of the cross, which is absent or irrelevant in the two framed images, while in the first it is placed on golden arabesques and echoes the ivory in the scroll and in the three spheres at the ends of the arms.
